why do my favorite shows get cancelled

Every TV show that I have really liked in the past few years seems to get canceled.

I loved "Once and Again", "American Dreams", "Joan of Arcadia", "Commander In Chief" and they are all gone.

All featured female leads but so did "Friends" (which I never watched)

So we continue to have idiotic reality shows and other crap which panders to the lowest mentality but shows you could actually watch and discuss with your family are gone.

I do like some of the new shows--"Chuck" and "Reaper". I tried "Daisies" but it made me uncomfortable for some reason. Thank goodness for TiVo and reruns.

Vick to the dogs

Besides putting this jerk behind bars I vote we put him in a pen with some of the dogs that he "didn't know" were fighting on his property, shut the door and leave.

After a few days, we let him out and take his multi-million dollar donation to numerous shelters and rescues.

As someone who has worked with an animal shelter and rescue group I can attest to the fact that dogs are very forgiving animals. They continue to love those that abuse them.

They are better than I am. They may forgive Vick--I won't.

Do they pay you for their ads?

I do not wear Old Navy, A & F or Nike.

I do not allow a dealer's sticker on my car stating where it came from nor a license plate holder.

If these entities, who have far more money than I ever will, would like to pay me to advertise their products, then I might consider it.

Until then, I will promote my causes, my alma mater and anything else I feel like proclaiming to the world on my car, my t-shirts etc.
